I used my good friend, Trisha's, Sketch #117 from Sketch Inspiration. A great sketch to work with!!!
All papers are DCWV - The Green Stack except for the scrap papers I used for the journaling box. I used Thickers for the title work. The ribbon, flowers and button were all just extras I had.

Classy & Fabulous
Here's my newest layout! I used sketch #116 from Sketch Inspiration. What a great sketch to work with!!!
I used Bo Bunny's Kitchen Spice papers which I got from JuJu Bee's September Kit. This was a perfect matchup! Everything was included in the kit except for the flowers.
When I went to use my flourish, it fell apart. Yes, it fell to pieces....literally! So, I did the best I could to piece it all together and I think it came out pretty decent!

Li'l Picasso - sketch #64
I flipped the sketch on it's side. I used My Mind's Eye "Complete Boy" paper pack for the papers and Bazzill for the green cardstock background. I used my piercing tool to make some haphazard holes on the Cricut Cut circle and laced some thread through.
Roe's BFF Carlton - sketch #73
Just 'Cuz - sketch #68
For the brown background paper I used Cloud 9 Design. The combination of vine/stripes/flowers/fern paper aer from the Paper Loft. The last 3 pattern papers are from My Mind's Eye "All Boy" paper pack. This is a HUGE pack and well worth the inexpensive cost!
This sketch is featured this month at Have Your Way With Paper! Check it out and all the other creations which were inspired by this sketch! Also, my website is featuring this sketch too! Go check it out too!!
Play around with this sketch and email me your creation. I will be happy to share it here for all to see!

March Happenings!!
Well, the last newsletter wished you a happy 2010, and we sure hope two months in, the year is treating you well! Have you embraced any new opportunities? Held strong to resolutions?
Three members of our internet home are embracing a new opportunity now. Rita (mykidsmom4ever), Krissy (aremid), and Lisa (lisa9er) have assumed the duties of ownership as Wendi decided it was time for her to step down. I know all three were honored that Wendi entrusted ‘her baby’ to them.
It’s a bittersweet time for her, seeing the old become new, and all of the cosmetic changes going on. It’s bittersweet in a way for the new owners as well. They will embrace this opportunity to help the community grow, and resolve to keep the closeness in true friendships found there.
If it’s been a while since you stopped by the site, we invite you to come over, check out the new ‘paint on the walls’ and jump in on a scrappy challenge or two! There will be fun with new and exciting sponsors, contests, and prizes any scrapper would love! The door is always open, c’mon over!

Everything Old is New Again – Repurposing for Scrapping!
Go green and have some fun scrapping! Below are a few ideas on going green with your creations. Hope you decide to try an idea and share it in our gallery:
*Buttons - use those extra buttons for a card, layout or project!
*Cut up strips of old clothes and make flowers and ribbons.
*Use other pieces of cloth to help clean stamps.
*Reuse the chipboard tags from newly purchased clothes, some are very artistic – you can also paint, stamp, etc. to make them your own.
*Junk mail/newspapers could also be cut into strips for handmade flowers or interesting embellies.
*Decorate old CD’s/DVD’s to make fridge magnets.
*Have you ever thought about using your cereal boxes for scrapbooking? The boxes are made of chipboard! Cutout any shape, cover it with scrapbook paper or paint, and PRESTO! you've got your own recycled, unique embellishment!
*Recycle jars: An old jar with a metal lid and a jelly jar are great storage for small stamp pads or small stamps and brads...
*Recycle greeting cards: Cut out those cute graphics on greeting cards and use them as custom-made embellishments on your next layout!
*Repurpose gift wrapping. Instead of throwing away used wrapping paper or gift bags and tags, consider including pieces of them in a holiday or birthday scrapbook as page decorations and colorful reminders of special gifts - and a fun new way to recycle!
*The most obvious: Remember to recycle. Scrapbooking by its very nature relies on a renewable resource - paper. Paper also is recyclable, so remember to recycle your scraps if you can't use them for projects.
