SKETCHES
Click the SKETCHES links for some great building blocks to create some amazing works of art. There are no actual photo sizes mentioned because these are just something to get you started; inspiration, if you will. Play around with them, turn them sideways, add some embellishments, make them your own.
Feel free to use any of the sketches and forward them to your friends. All I ask is you refer them back to this site so they can check things out as they progress. There aren't a whole lot of sketches available right now, but I plan to add more as time goes by. Come back periodically to see the changes and additions. Thanks and have fun with those sketches.

Cornerstone Memories - October 2008
October 4-6, 2008
Cornerstone Memories
Tipton, Indiana
A few of us gals from Have Your Way With Paper are getting together at Cornerstone Memories in Tipton, Indiana.
It's a trip that has been planned for quite some time now. We will arrive Friday evening and stay overnight until Sunday afternoon. We will receive the royal treatment (as much as can be expected in the US), eat fabulous homemade food, comfy beds and great company. Oh, and some scrappy time too!
It's going to be a fun filled weekend and I can't wait for the sleepover/mini-vacation! Not to mention, getting to meet some of my online family in person!!!
Some Cool Pix from our trip!
Check out the comments to see how it went:

June 2009 HYWWP 1st Annual Get Together
June 4-6, 2009
Arlington, Texas
Great American Scrapbook Convention
AIRPORT:Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) airport is said the be the easiest and quickest. Jenny said it is only 10 minutes from the hotel we were looking at (Drury Inn) and just minutes away from the Convention center. The Convention is only $9 for the day - I believe - something close to that anyway.
ACCOMODATIONS:If we chose to stay at this hotel (THE DRURY INN) we would have
*a free hot breakfast - It's really good
*free dinner each night - We only stayed one night, but we had pizza (hand made good stuff), baked potatoes with the fixings, salad, dessert, drinks - cokes, tea, coffee, whatever you wanted.
*3 complimentary drinks during happy hour - you can take them to your room.
*free internet
*free LONG DISTANCE CALLS FROM YOUR ROOM up to an hour a day!
*access to a computer/internet
*pool
Anyway, it seems like a good choice to me with the free food - we won't have to worry about anything but lunch as an expense.
I THINK the hotel runs about $100 a night I THINK...but I will look more into that and come up with a close figure...I think I can find some coupons to cut down on that.
I really can't find a house that is more convenient or accommodating, but we have time and I'm up for suggestions:)

Cord Scrapbook Studio Crop 7/19
Now this I am totally looking forward to! This is a 12 hour crop! 12 hours filled with lunch, dinner, prizes and shopping! You do have to pay $30 for this all day crop, but $15 can be used for in-store merchandise! Woo-Hoo! I plan to have a blast with some of the ladies that are practically regulars. Even though I've only been here a few times, the ladies that work here, already know who I am! How's that for service with a smile? It's like they don't even work there, but are my friends too.
Seats are runnin' out, so you better click on the link below and give them a call to reserve yours!

Cord Scrapbook Studio Crop 6/28
I'm so excited about this upcoming crop! I love going there! They have big tables w/slots for cutters and such and a cup holder as well. You can bring your own Cricut or other devices. They always have fantastic snacks and plenty of drinks. Since this is only a 6h crop, they are only offering snacks and drinks, but it's always fabu!! Plus, best part is that $10 of my $15 can be used towards in-store merchandise! Woo-hoo! I so can't wait! I always have a blast and the ladies that work there and crop there are a delightful bunch! There's a link below for their calendars, phone number and more. Let me know if you're going and we can meet!

Treasured Memories Day Retreat 6/14
This was a lot of fun! We got a great and healthy sit down lunch and dinner in the main house. It was nice to be waited on for once. A lot of great ladies to chat with. We were able to watch one of the Friends' seasons all day. We also had access to their Sizzix machine, diecuts, computer and printer as well as some Cricut Cartridges. Very cool place to scrap! You should check it out. Click the link down below and you'll get all the info you need! Mabe we can meet up on their next Day Crop!

RACE PARKING
Since my parents do live so close to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, they will be parking vehicles for the Indy 500, Brickyard 400 and MotoGP Races.
You can email me at paula00750@yahoo.com to make reservations for any of these races. Please be sure to let me know your name, how many vehicles will need a space and the type of vehicle. If there are several vehicles coming together I will reserve your spots so you are all able to get out at the same time. I will make sure to relay this information to my parents.
The following prices are for regular vehicles only. Campers and large vehicles like that will depend on how large and if electricity and water usage is necessary. You're looking at $10 the day before the race and $20 the day of the race. If you would like to stay the weekend and camp out, it's $45 (this would include water and electricity usage - if this is not necessary, $35).
All I ask in return is a simple "Thank You" and a reference back to this site.
I hope to see you for the next race!! You'll have a blast
